And Just What's on the Final???  -  Summer 2005

HERE'S WHAT’S ON THE GONSTEAD FINAL...

  • All line analysis
    • Cervical
    • Thoracic (locate the posteriority on the lateral film (george’s line, etc.) and then list it on the AP film (like you did in the cervicals, but using either the tranverse/body junction or bottoms of pedicle shadows to draw the base and listing lines). We discussed but didn’t do paper drawings of them.
    • Lumbar (locate the posteriority on the lateral film (george’s line, etc.) and then list it on the AP film (like you did in the cervicals, but using either the tranverse/body junction or bottoms of pedicle shadows to draw the base and listing lines). We discussed and did do paper drawings of them. The Thoracics are VERY similar to doing Lumbars.
    • PELVIS LINE ANALYSIS… yes, that’s right, pelvis (emphasis on cervical and pelvis)
  • A question or two about history
  • Listing system
    • Gonstead stuff
    • Right-handed orthogonal
  • D1-D6 disk
  • Nerv-o-scope
  • MD/AD questions
  • Heel lifts
  • Motion Palpation
  • Lines of Correction
  • Technique Set-Ups (you should be experts… you’ve just had a comprehensive practical)
  • Rad Technique, Gonstead style
  • Anything we've covered this tri is fair game.
  • Treatment protocols are not on the exam
  •
