I discovered my love for teaching when I began working for Irene Gold Associates.  I hope my passion for it comes through every time I step in front of a class.

I entered the profession after my dreams of a career in music (translation - I wanted to be a rock star) came to an end (by choice).  I had started a rehearsal studio with another musician in 1980 that basically supported the pursuit of music as a profession.  It's a tough, cut-throat business and I eventually sold the studio in 1985, and went back to school to pursue some sort of science / medical career.  After thoroughly investigating the possibilities and spending time with my father's chiropractor, my direction seemed obvious.  I completed all my prerequisites and enrolled at Palmer-West in 1988.

Around that time I began to date my future wife.  We were married just as I was starting my internship in 1990.  I am truly blessed with a beautiful wife and 2 wonderful boys, Lucas (12), and Jonah, (11).  My family means everything to me.

How I Became a "Chiro-Pastor"
In 1991 my life changed dramatically when I became a follower of Jesus Christ.  Having a personal relationship with the Creator of heaven and earth is a mind blowing, humbling, incredible experience.  After I became a "Jesus freak", God renewed my love for music.  I began to play for the worship team at church and eventually became a worship leader.  Playing for all the right reasons has made all the difference.

Sometime in 1998, I began to feel a "call" into the pastoral ministry.  As circumstances began to unfold, I was led into selling my practice.  The day that I "shook hands" and agreed on a selling price with a colleague, I was offered a position as youth pastor at the church I attended.  I knew it was what I was supposed to do though I never thought I would be a youth pastor (I figured music was where I would end up, but...).  For about 3 years I loved and pastored some great kids.  It was with a heavy heart that I stepped down, but God was leading me into another phase of the journey.  My wife and I left the church we had "grown up in" to help re-establish another small church in town that some very dear friends were pastoring.  We served until July of 2002 when God opened the doors for us here in Texas.   We currently attend and are very involved at Fellowship Bible Church North an awesome church in Plano.  The next step is just around the corner…
