Building upon the concepts learned in PT I, Physiotherapy II focuses on rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries. Proprioception and postural training, muscle stretching and strengthening exercises, and myofascial release are integrated to mobilize a comprehensive healing response. The Janda, McKenzie, and Williams rehabilitation protocols are taught where appropriate for various conditions. The student will learn how to perform a functional capacity evaluation, and document the ICD and CPT codes appropriate for the various conditions and treatments. The students will also be exposed to Graston Technique and laser protocols for musculoskeletal conditions.

    Neuro Emotional Technique

Emotions are part of the natural, healthy response process we have to virtually every situation we encounter. However, sometimes challenging emotional experiences and physical vulnerabilities create lingering stress in our mind-body architecture. Such stress can contribute to physical complaints, emotional difficulties, and problems with goal achievement. The Neuro Emotional Technique (NET) is a powerful intervention that can assess and alleviate the internal stressors that are creating barriers to health and success.
