The study of Geriatrics provides our students with the knowledge to better serve their older patients. Some practitioners see older patients as more difficult, lower-paying (Medicare) patients. The insight gained in this course will help our graduates to see them as a great opportunity to help. The “Love Concept” can be practiced in its purest form with the geriatric population. Many have socio-economic challenges as well as physical ones. With the proper approach, the Doctor of Chiropractic can help the older patient make significant improvements in their quality of life. This course is designed to help our students express the Parker College of Chiropractic mission in their service to this growing segment of our population
