This course takes
a systematic approach to radiographic interpretation of the osseous
elements of the human body when they are subjected to change under the
influence of pathophysiologic processes. Radiographic observations will
be intimately correlated with clinically relevant physical &
biochemical findings. Categories of bone pathology discussed will
include: infections, neoplasms, vascular, nutritional, metabolic &
endocrine disorders.
This course helps to prepare the student for the problems expected
in clinical practice. The student will be able to deal with the common
radiological problems and treat / refer patients as
radiographically/clinically indicated.
