Frequently Asked Questions:
Q: How often will staff and students have to authenticate to the wireless network?
A: Every 30 days
Q: Do I use my Parker username or my full email address to log in?
A: Either will work
Q: Is the new network at the Irving or Frisco (PPI) clinics?
A: Not yet - currently planned for February. The ParkerU wireless network will continue to function in these locations until then.
Q: What happened to the Parker Clinics network?
A: All wireless networks have been consolidated into the ParkerUniv network.
Q: What about “geo-fencing” for the Dallas Clinic or Health Sciences Building?
A: This functionality is still in place; you must be connected from within the Dallas Clinic or HSB for applications like Visual Outcomes to work. Connecting to the network from other areas on campus will not allow Visual Outcomes to work.
