Course Description

This course is designed to prepare the student to care for patientsÂ’ in common emergency situations. Emphasis will be placed on knowledge and proficiency in CPR (Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation), application and use of an AED (automated external defibrillator), use of emergency oxygen and the management of musculoskeletal and spinal injuries, shock, heart attacks, strokes, and common medical emergencies.
