Course Description:

This class is a continuation of Case Management I and will present relevant information and clinical case studies related to the practice of chiropractic. This class will draw upon prior classroom teachings as well as clinical instruction. All aspects of physical examination, procedural terminology, diagnostic interpretation, laboratory, imaging, and applied modalities to include but not be limited to the chiropractic adjustment, nutrition, and exercise will be addressed. The intent of this class is to bring all applicable information together, critically analyze, determine the diagnosis, and apply the best case management for various conditions.

Course Missions, Goals and Objectives:

As discussed in the Mission Statement of the College, Doctors of Chiropractic serve as primary health care providers. As such, this course must prepare the future doctor of chiropractic to recognize a broad range of health conditions that may present in clinical practice. While the emphasis is on the neuromusculoskeletal conditions most commonly seen, the course also covers less frequently seen conditions that may need to be referred for treatment by another health care provider, concurrent with conservative chiropractic care.
