Course Description
 Clinic V Lecture will present a detailed analysis of the clinical art of chiropractic.  The intern will also be taught procedures involving the following areas: PCC’s- consultations and history gathering; new and established patient examinations; radiology & laboratory policies; coding, qualitative assessment, report of findings and referrals.  Interns will also be informed concerning clinic emergencies and infectious disease protocols.
 
Course Purpose
 The purpose of Clinical Procedures is to help the student intern master new and established patient procedures.
 
Course Objectives:
 Upon completion of this course, the student intern should:
 1. Demonstrate knowledge of appropriate methods of expediting the examination process using higher developed skills
 2. be able to properly document examination findings, specifically on the various examination forms used in the Parker College Student Clinic
 3. use acceptable clinical indications for ordering radiographs as well as being able to properly request radiographs in the Parker College Student Clinic
 4. actively use Parker College Clinical procedures to schedule and take x-rays in the Parker College Student Clinic
 5. use proper procedures for submitting radiographs following the completion of the radiographic report writing
 6.develop professional attitudes that will aid in clinical and private practice success
