Staff Doctor at Student Heath Care Centers
Parker College of Chiropractic

Dr. Kurth grew up on a farm in northwest Iowa and discovered chiropractic after being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 25 years of age.  After rounds of medical tests, and faced with a prognosis that was not too promising, he went to a chiropractor and the results he had seemed like a miracle.  At the suggestion of his chiropractor, he enrolled in chiropractic school and graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in December of 1989.  After graduation he and his family moved to Colorado where he was an associate doctor in a high volume personal injury clinic.  Later he moved back to Iowa and took over a chiropractic practice in a small town and was very successful.  In 1997 Dr. Kurth began teaching at Parker College of Chiropractic as a staff doctor in the Student Health Care Center.  He has also been an instructor in the Gonstead and Diversified labs.  He has been active in several different committees while at Parker College of Chiropractic and is currently on the Commission on Curriculum and Grades Committee.

Outside of Parker College of Chiropractic Dr. Kurth maintains a small family based chiropractic practice.  He is also certified in impairment ratings and does designated doctor and referral impairment ratings.

Dr. Kurth resides in Saginaw, TX and has been married to his wife, Ann, for 24 years.  They have been blessed with 5 wonderful children.  Our oldest is Matthew 20, Alicia 18, Nathan 16, Katelyn 14 and the youngest is Jonathan 12 years of age.
