This course is designed for students pursuing a major/minor in Anatomy and/or other related disciplines. All outcomes (objectives) of this course are intended to provide a measurable and/or observable means to evaluate the student’s proficiency in the given topics to be discussed throughout the duration of this course. All objectives will directly relate to the curriculum committee approved content for each course. Topics to be covered include cell structure and function, tissues, organization of the human body, and the following organ systems: skeletal, muscular, and nervous. Emphasis is on homeostasis. The course consists of 8 lecture/ 4 lab hours per week.
