This introductory course is divided into lecture and lab time. The greatest emphasis is placed on lab to learn the core skills (biomechanics & ergonomics) necessary to begin to develop a truly individual and unique art form of adjusting. Students will learn to recognize common and serious conditions presenting with lumbopelvic pain utilizing the best evidence to develop differential diagnosis and determine the appropriateness of associated chiropractic care as well as possible complications from and contraindications to HVLA side-posture adjusting.
