Ob-Gyn introduces the basic concepts and understanding of the physiology of the female reproductive system and common gynecological conditions. Changes in a healthy pregnancy and uncomplicated labor and delivery are discussed, as well as, understanding complications and risks that may occur during pregnancy, labor and delivery. Pediatric conditions are introduced as well as physical, neurological development, and psychosocial conditions
unique to infants and children.
Prerequisite(s): BASC 5304 Public Health; CLSC 6103 Physical Diagnosis; CHSC 5302 Diversified I Technique; BASC 5306 General Pathology
