Description

While Internship Practicums I and II assessed the quality of the intern’s patient-centered skills during patient care, this course will continue intern development through reflection on ancillary testing choices, application of necessary services, evaluation of patient outcomes, and review of evidence applied to their patient experiences. Additionally, interns will continue to develop communication skills applied to patients, healthcare providers, third-party payers, and employers by participating in on-line lecture hours and submitting communication assessments.
Prerequisite(s): CLIN 7203 Internship Practicum I and CLIN 7303 Internship Practicum II
