Dr. Gilbert is a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. After earning a Bachelors of Science in Biology and Biochemistry from West Texas A&M University, he attended Texas Chiropractic College and graduated Magna Cum Laude, earning both a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology and a Doctorate of Chiropractic.
He entered the Residency in Diagnostic Imaging at Parker College of Chiropractic and earned diplomate status with the American Chiropractic Board of Radiology (ACBR). He is an Assistant Professor of Radiology with the Center for Academics at Parker College and is the Director of the Diagnostic Imaging Residency. Additionally, he is the Director of Administrative Affairs and a reading radiologist for eGrayscale Radiology, PLLC.
He has published multiple articles in various peer-reviewed journals and has been invited as a platform presenter at several professional organizations/meetings including the American College of Chiropractic Radiology (ACCR), the American Society of Spine Radiology (ASSR), and the Association of Chiropractic Colleges' Research Agenda Conference (ACC-RAC). Most recently Dr. Gilbert was invited to speak internationally at the 2nd Annual Latin American Chiropractic Federation Conference in Santiago, Chile.
Dr. Gilbert is a dedicated family man; husband to his wife Sara of ten years and father to his three children: Micheala, Jack, and Kellison. He is passionate about radiology and teaching, and is honored to have the opportunity to play a role in training future Doctors of Chiropractic.
