Description

This course is designed to introduce and reinforce assessment of the function of the musculoskeletal system. It expands on biomechanical, range of motion, and orthopedic assessments with a focus on relationships and interactions between regions of the body and how movement pattern asymmetry and dysfunction can contribute to patient presentations. This course will develop visual and manual evaluation skills as well as teach the fundamental
principles of human movement to allow for proper implementation of these skills in clinical internship and private practice.
Prerequisite(s): CLSC 6201 Clinical Orthopedics
Prerequisite or Concurrent enrollment: CLSC-6305 Differential Diagnosis; CHSC-6305 Physiotherapy II
