Description

An 8-week health-related work-based learning experience that enables the student to apply specialized occupational theory, skills, and concepts. Direct supervision is provided by the OT clinical professional. Students will use the occupational therapy process while developing and practicing the skills of an entry-level OTA. Students are assigned to a setting working with individuals that offers a diversity of experience. Students receive general workplace training supported by an individualized learning plan developed by the fieldwork site, university, and student.
