COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course deals with the radiological principals involved in the production of diagnostic images.  Formation of plain film images, darkroom procedures, and imaging quality control are presented in lecture and reinforced in lab.  Lab sessions consist of hands-on exercises that emphasize the principles involved in the production of radiologic images.  An emphasis is placed on radiation biology and patient protection.
