Attention DC Graduates!

Please keep in mind that the end of the term is not until December 9th, while the commencement ceremony will be held on December 3rd. Final grades for IP 3 are due by noon on December 12th. Once final grades have been entered, your record will be reviewed by the Registrar’s Office for degree conferral. Conferred degrees will be submitted for diploma production (both digital and printed). Production time is 7-10 days business days from the date the order is submitted. Access to digital diplomas will be emailed once available for immediate download. You will be responsible for sending your digital diploma to your state licensing boards. Tracking information will also be sent via email to inform you of when your printed diploma should arrive at the address listed on your graduation application.

The following scenarios will cause a delay in receiving a diploma/official transcripts and will not be included our initial diploma order:

  • Incomplete Grade: It is important to note that students who are initially assigned an Incomplete grade for IP 3 cannot have their degree conferred until a final grade has been submitted to the registrar’s office. The most common reasons for Incomplete grades are due to incomplete clinic checkouts and/or not satisfying all CCE Meta-Competency Outcomes. For questions regarding your status of completing these requirements, please contact Dr. Leon Tom, Dean of Clinics, at
  • Holds on Account: Student with holds on their record will not be included in the initial diploma order. The most common holds for tri 10 students are Non-Payment holds which can be cleared with the Business Office (, or Assembly holds which can be cleared through Student Affairs (
