The Department of Student Affairs is excited to offer Parker students the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the DFW community through service with our Parker Cares partners each trimester.

• DC & DCB Students: Earn one (1) General Assembly Credit for each volunteer shift completed with a partner site (up to two (2) credits per trimester max).
• Non-DC Students: Receive one entry into a gift card drawing for each volunteer shift completed with a partner site (up to two (2) entries per trimester).
• Most volunteer shifts last between 1.5–2 hours, depending on the site.
• Some of our partner sites offer alternative volunteer opportunities, such as virtual work or donation drop-offs. Prior approval from the Office of Student Affairs is required, as these will be reviewed and authorized on a case-by-case basis.
• All donations require prior approval from AskStudentAffairs@parker.edu. 

To earn credit or drawing entries, you must:

1. Complete at least one volunteer shift of 1.5 hours or longer with a Parker Cares partner site.
• Shifts of 3 hours or more will count as two (2) credits/entries.
• Receive prior approval from AskStudentAffairs@parker.edu if making in-kind donations.
2. Fill out the Parker Cares Verification Form from the handouts section below and obtain all required signatures.

All certifications must be submitted by Friday, April 10, 2026. Late submissions will not be accepted.
